I just downloaded this app a few days ago, so admittedly still learning. Currently though, the only way I can load a GPX file onto Gaia app is by downloading a GPX file from a website onto my phone or computer, going onto the Gaia website and into my account, uploading the GPX track to my account, then going into the Gaia app, and being able to find it in the "Folders" tab.
